WHY COLLAGEN PEPTIDES?

Before getting into the recipe, here are a few benefits found in collagen and why one might want to add this supplement to their diet. The short chain amino acids found in collagen peptides are easy to digest, highly-bioavailable (meaning your body can make full use of them), and they’re a rich source of important amino acids such as glycine, proline, and glutamine. These amino acids are necessary for detoxification, immune function, healthy digestion, bone health, skin health as well as growth and repair of tissue, tendons, joints and muscles.

  • Collagen Type I supplementation supports the development of skin, bone, teeth, tendon, ligaments, vascular ligature, and organs. It improves skin elasticity, hair growth, skin hydration, joint comfort, digestive health, dental health, wound healing, and increased bone density.
  • Collagen type III are vital for blood vessel elasticity thus optimizing stroke volume (blood flow), lowered blood pressure. It improves the cardiovascular health.
  • Most abundant protein in the body is paramount in maintaining optimal connective tissue integrity.
  • Reduces the age-associated loss of collagen production decline.
  • Hydrolyzed collagen peptides provide the amino acids of collagen synthesis in the dermis via increased elastin fiber creation.
  • Collagen oligopeptides (ligands) attach to fibroblasts (bone formation cells) receptors on the fibroblast membrane synthesizing new collagen production.
